b'MEET THETEAMDEAN RUSSELLStarting work for New South Wales Touch Football in 1989 as a Development Officer, he had a break from the organisation in 1996 when he worked for various organisations, TFA, The Childrens Cancer Institute of Australian, the NSW Rifle Association and Hockey NSW. Deans career highlight was being invited back in 2002 to take on the General Managers role with the business. Having an extensive playing and coaching history, his many Touch highlights cannot top his induction into the Touch Football Australia Hall of Fame in 2007 and being named in the Touch Football Australia 50year Team in 2018. Deans love for The Cronulla Sharks, Boston Celtics and golf is only matched by Cold Rock strawberry and double choc ice cream with wiz fizz and Halle Berry (not in the same mixture).KYLIE HEARNEWith two starting dates in January 1994 and 2000, Kylie had a short break but continues to thrive from her Business Operations Manager role with NSWTA. While her career with NSWTA has been extensive, her experience and knowledge of the volunteer sports market provides her with a strong understanding of our volunteer needs.A key member of the executive management team Kylie will tell you she runs the joint and likely does! Once a talented ten-pin bowler her chosen sport saw her successfully captain the NSW Womens Open team and travel to Hong Kong as an Australian Representative - even though she has never beaten the boss; however, her one true love lies in V8 Holdens and Mark Skaife. (sorry Darren)ROB PIDGEONRob joined NSW Touch Football in October 2019 in the newly revised role of State Participation Manager and brings the experience of a 10 year + sport management career in two distinct sports of lawn bowls and surf life saving to Touch Football. He heads up the Participation Team to grow the sport. Rob played club level Rugby Union in winter and very social Touch in summer while being involved in surf lifesaving all year round. An opportunity to work in his passion at Surf Life Saving NSW encouraged the jump across the ditch in 2013 from Auckland to the Northern Beaches. Rob enjoys coffee, anything to do with the beach and is still "keeping the faith" as an NZ Warriors supporter.KEITH LEEKeith is the current Events Manager and has been with NSW Touch Football since late 2016 (though the GM often introduces as a lot longer each time). After a year as a Game Development Officer for the Hunter and North Coast regions, he progressed to the Events team where he has remained a stalwart of the organisation in a period of many changes such as overseeing the incredible growth of the Junior State Cup from 1 to 3 events. His career highlights include being the reigning 2-time putt putt champion of the office, winning Division 3 with the mighty Hills Hornets in the 2017 Vawdon Cup and having an impeccable record of always winning garlic bread at random trivia nights whilst away for tournaments. In his spare time, Keith enjoys supporting his beloved Parramatta Eels and following the Formula 1 races around the world.4|Keeping In Touch 2019 77195_NSWTA-KeepingInTouchMagazine-2019.indd 4 2/12/19 3:21 pm'
